Interview Prep on Launchpad is where you rehearse the round itself, not just the questions. There are two ways to practise, and they are built for different moments in your preparation.

AI Interview

The AI interview runs on NxtMock, NxtWave’s AI-powered interview simulation platform. Instead of practising against static problems, you hold a live conversation with an AI interviewer that asks questions, responds to your answers, challenges your reasoning, and evaluates how you think, not just whether your code compiles.
  • Speaks with a hyper-realistic custom voice model, not generic text-to-speech
  • Powered by GPT-4o and Groq for fast, context-aware responses
  • You can interrupt it mid-sentence and ask clarifying questions, just like a real round
  • Evaluates your problem-solving approach, not only the final answer
  • System design rounds include a real-time collaborative whiteboard for architecture diagrams
Available on demand, so you can run a round whenever you have a free hour.

Expert Interview

Book a slot with a mentor from a top product company and sit a realistic round — DSA, system design, or behavioural. You get structured feedback on problem solving, communication, and code quality, so you leave knowing exactly what to work on next. Best used once you have done a few AI rounds and want a human read on where you actually stand.
Use AI interviews for volume and expert interviews for depth. Repeat the AI round until the format stops feeling unfamiliar, then spend an expert session on the weakness it exposed.
