# 🔥 Streak

> Build a daily coding habit on Launchpad with the streak calendar, daily study goals, timely reminders, and Streak Freeze for the days you can't practice.

Streak is Launchpad's built-in habit engine. It tracks the days you show up, sets a daily study goal, and nudges you at the right time so consistent practice becomes the default instead of the exception.

## Streak Calendar

The streak calendar is a visual record of every day you solved at least one problem or hit your study goal on Launchpad. You can scroll back through past weeks to see your patterns, spot gaps, and stay accountable to your future self.

## Daily Study Goal

Your daily study goal keeps practice concrete. Launchpad pairs the goal with an estimated completion date on the [DSA Sheet](/practice/dsa-sheet), so a small daily commitment turns into a predictable finish line instead of a vague plan.

  Pair your streak with the [Problem of the Day](/practice/potd). A single POTD attempt is often enough to keep the streak alive on a busy day.

## Streak Reminders and Nudges

Launchpad sends timely reminders so you never lose a streak by accident:

* Onboarding nudges when you first sign up
* Daily streak reminders at practice time
* Contest, event, and cohort pings so you can log activity through those too

## Streak Freeze

Life happens. When you genuinely cannot practice on a given day, use a [Streak Freeze](/progress/streak-freeze) to preserve your streak without breaking your progress record.
