# 🎓 Eligibility

> Launchpad is free for students from IITs, IIITs, NITs, and BITS. Check eligible colleges and how your Tier 1 institution access is verified.

Launchpad is a curated, free platform reserved for students from Tier 1 engineering institutions. This page lists which colleges qualify and how eligibility is verified when you sign up.

## Eligible Colleges

Launchpad access is currently open to students from the following institutions:

* **IITs** (Indian Institutes of Technology)
* **IIITs** (Indian Institutes of Information Technology)
* **NITs** (National Institutes of Technology)
* **BITS** (Birla Institute of Technology and Science)

  Access is limited to students from these Tier 1 institutions. If you are not currently enrolled at an IIT, IIIT, NIT, or BITS, you will not be able to activate a Launchpad account.

## How Access Is Verified

When you sign up on [launchpad.ccbp.in](https://launchpad.ccbp.in), your college affiliation is checked against the eligible institutions list. Once verified, your account is provisioned with a full year of free access, and you get the same platform experience as every other Launchpad student, courses, practice, placement prep, and progress tools all included.
